PBIS Rewards

This year, we are using a school-wide positive behavior reinforcement system called PBIS rewards. Using the website/app, students can receive points from any Dolvin staff member for displaying positive behaviors that fall under the above rules (it is very similar to Class Dojo, for those of you who are familiar). Students can use their points to purchase FUN rewards! Once a month, a prize cart will come around the building for students to cash in their points, if they wish. Should they choose to cash their points in before the monthly prize cart comes around, they can do so in my prize store. I have rewards for up to 50 points.

We are still ironing out some kinks with the PBIS Rewards website/app, so initially, I thought that the students could view their points through the app in Classlink; however, it appears that is not the case. Once I have received more information on student/family access, I will send out an email. Thanks for your patience with this!

Stay connected

Along with occasional emails and weekly posts here on my website under "Weekly News," I will often Tweet out photos of fun, academic things we are doing in the classroom. The best way to stay connected is to follow me on Twitter - @MsPopola.

Closing

Please always feel free to reach out with questions and concerns. I hope that you close out this first week of school with an incredible weekend!

Sincerely,

Bianca Popola
