Our larva have arrived! We are so fortunate to be able to witness the buttery life cycle during our last science unit!

Reading
- 2.RL.1 Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.
  - We will take a minor assessment over this standard this week (a completion grade for the remainder of our novel study assignments).
  - We will take a major assessment over this standard this week to wrap-up our novel studies.
Writing

uplifting ukraine

As a school community, we would like to collect items that are currently needed by Ukrainian refugees in Romania. We are partnering with One Heart Church in Norcross who will ship the donated items overseas. If you would like to contribute, here are the items currently needed:

towels
toothpaste
toothbrushes
socks
thermos bottles
backpacks
blankets
pencils
school supplies
spiral notebooks

Additionally, we’d like to prepare drawstring bags of items for children specifically. They will/could include:

coloring books
crayons (8 pack)
small stuffed animal
mini pop-its
travel sized tissue
grooming kit (brush, comb, hair bands, etc.)

Collection will take place from April 25th through May 6th, and we will have donation bins at several locations around the building. Thank you in advance for supporting our global village!
