Hello, families and happy Friday! What a wonderful first week back it has been. I am so proud of how well the students have acclimated to being back in the classroom. Their eagerness and excitement to learn is evident every day. I feel so honored to be their teacher this school year!

• ELAGSE2RL2   Recount stories, including fables and folktales from diverse cultures, and determine their central message, lesson, or moral.

Social Studies 

• SS2G1   The student will locate major topographical features of Georgia and will describe how these features define Georgia

Friendly Reminders

• Please pack your child a snack and a water bottle daily. We have one snack break a day, and with this heat, the kiddos are always thirsty after PE and recess, so it is super helpful to have a labeled water bottle on-hand!
• The classroom can get quite chilly, so I would also recommend packing a sweater or light jacket for your child.
