About me
Hello! My name is Bianca Balcar. I was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia and studied at Kennesaw State University. I graduated in December 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I returned for my M.Ed in June 2019 and graduated in July 2020. I began my teaching career in January 2016 here at Dolvin Elementary. I have experience teaching both 1st and 2nd grade. Primary grades will always have my heart!
A little bit about myself: I am excited to share that I got married to my sweet husband Derek this summer on June 18th! It was the most perfect day. We are enjoying all that our new neighborhood (Inman Park) has to offer. We love trying new restaurants, exploring different areas within the city, and taking morning "coffee walks" on the Beltline. Another thing about me is that I am very close with my family. My parents still live in Alpharetta and my brother, Frankie, lives in Inman right near us, so spending time with one another is a priority. I also love to travel (short weekend trips are my favorite!), to read (you'll almost always catch me with a new thriller novel in my Kindle library), and spending quality time with my closest friends.
I am looking forward to an outstanding year together and so excited to witness your child's growth in the coming months!
